Blister Technology

Blister is a kind of plastic processing technology. The main principle is to flatten a roll of plastic sheet and softened it up by heat. Then place it on a specific mold and shape it by vacuum suction. After cooling, it will become blister products (e.g. blister, trays, folding boxes, etc.).

What is "Blister Packaging”?

Blister packaging is a flexible packaging. In most cases, PVC or PET blister is used in the packaging of items with irregular shape and size (such as toys, stationery, tools, daily commodities, etc.). Through the use of heat sealing technique, a blister is sealed onto a paper card to form a transparent packaging.

What is plastic box?

It is a kind of blister product which has a lid and bottom. There are two types of plastic boxes. One is called “Folding plastic box” of which its bottom and lid are attached together while the other is called “open cover plastic box” of which its bottom and lid are separate.

What is “tray”?

It is also called plastic Neto. By using blister technology, a tray with particular groove can be formed from a plastic sheet. It not only protects a product which is placed inside the tray but also provides an elegant packaging to the product.

What is “velvet neto”?

It is a kind of plastic tray made from specific plastic sheet. Its surface is coated with velvet material. It not only provides velvet feeling but also enhances the quality of the packaging.

What is "antistatic tray"?

It is a kind of plastic tray made from specific plastic sheet. Its surface resistance value is less than 100,000MΩ, and mainly used in electronics and IT products.

What is “blister mold”?

It is a mold to form blister. Plaster mold is the lowest cost, followed by electroplating copper mold; and the most expensive one is aluminum mold. All blister molds are drilled with holes, which are used in vacuum suction for a thermoformed plastic sheet to form blister products.
